As a direct primary care provider, we focus on you and your health without the influence of unnecessary third party restrictions. We see far fewer patients than a traditional insurance-based practice so we can provide you the best care possible.

Dr. Jewel Datri is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in the care of older adults, chronic disease management, and complex adult medicine. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and providing thoughtful, personalized care that goes beyond the traditional rushed clinic visit.
Dr. Datri earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University, graduating summa cum laude with minors in Psychology and Anthropology. She then earned a dual Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, where she received the Harry Emerson Dascomb, MD Award for excellence in infectious diseases. She completed her internal medicine residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating with Distinction in Primary Care. During residency she was also recognized as a VA Health Professions Outstanding Trainee by the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System.
Before opening Datri, MD, she practiced primary care at a Federally Qualified Health Center in San Antonio, caring for diverse and underserved patients with complex medical needs. She has also completed advanced training in hyperbaric medicine and wound care.
Through Direct Primary Care, Dr. Datri offers a different approach, one centered on time, access, and continuity. She focuses on caring for adults with multiple or complex medical conditions and helping patients navigate their health with clarity and confidence. Her clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and age-related health concerns. Drawing on her public health background, she emphasizes preventive care alongside comprehensive management of chronic illness. Her goal is to simplify healthcare, improve outcomes, and make sure every patient feels heard, supported, and genuinely cared for.
Based in Stone Oak in North San Antonio, she is committed to delivering high-quality, relationship-driven care to the local community. Outside of medicine, she loves spending time with her husband and their four dogs and enjoys reading, Mahjong, crossword puzzles, trivia, and board games. Her lifetime goal is to be on Jeopardy!

Keyarra trained at Southern Careers Institute in San Antonio and brings several years of experience in hospitals, clinics, and senior care. Her background caring for older adults and patients with complex health needs makes her a perfect match for Dr. Datri's practice and the kind of care Datri, MD was built to provide.
Working side by side with Dr. Datri, Keyarra helps with everything from exams and lab work to answering questions and making sure patients know what comes next. Her warmth, skill, and attention to detail are a big part of what makes Datri, MD feel different from a typical doctor's office.
Matt is the behind-the-scenes force who keeps Datri, MD running smoothly. An engineer by trade, he brings an eye for detail and a love of problem-solving to everything from the practice's technology and day-to-day ecosystem to making sure the office is ready for every patient. As Dr. Datri's husband, he's proud to help build the kind of practice they both believe in: personal, unhurried care for the Stone Oak community.

Office visits are scheduled 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We offer timely, flexible scheduling for most needs. Visits can be scheduled outside of above hours on as needed basis, 6:30 AM – 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Members have direct access to their physician via phone, text, and secure messaging for time-sensitive concerns outside of office hours.

Why $150 a month instead of a copay? You see the same physician every time: Dr. Datri, a board-certified internist. Visits are longer, you can call or text her directly, and in-office ultrasound, ECG, spirometry, and urinalysis are included.

Do I still need insurance? Yes. Keep it for hospital stays, specialists, and emergencies. We handle your everyday care.
